Ladies

When I decided that photography was going to be my profession, I started creating photo essays to add to my commercial portfolio, so that photography magazines would feature my work.

This series, LADIES IN LADIES ROOMS, is based on my discovery that in Los Angeles, where I now lived, as opposed to Italy, public restrooms (in hotels, department stores and movie theaters) were luxurious places where women lounged and engaged in a number of activities, such as resting, combing their hair, washing their hands, not just going to the toilet. I thought it would be interesting to take a peek into these private places, where men were not allowed; so I asked several of my girlfriends to dress up and pose for me on locations that I had previously scouted.
